Wreck No: W06657, Place of Loss: Achill Island, Co Mayo, Western shore adjacant to Claggan and Dumha Eige townlands, Source of Coordinate: National Monuments Service, Description: 4,330-ton steamer foundered en route from Cardiff to Buenos Aires with a cargo of coal. The steamer lost control of its steering and ran ashore on the western cliffs of Achill Island. The wreck was partially salvaged in 1941 by Mr J. Sweeney and a local diver, Mr J. Gorman.
