LENGTH 40MTRS. LIES E/W. (HMS ECHO, HI 80/75).INS AS WK 27MTRS. BR STD. HH100/351/14 5.8.99 DIVED IN 5741.989N, 0351.140W [WGD] USING GPS. CONFIRMED AS WK OF A SUNDERLAND AIRCRAFT. WELL BROKEN UP WITH MANY TRAWL NETS ON IT. STANDS 2MTRS PROUD OF FLAT SAND SEABED. THE OUTLINE IS STILL VISIBLE OF THE WINGS AND FUSELAGE. THE TAIL IS BROKEN OFF AND LIES ABOUT 30 FT AWAY.
