BUILT IN 1957 BY AG 'WESER' WERK SEEBECK, BREMERHAVEN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY BAHIA BIANCA CIA NAV, SA. PASSAGE SUNDSVALL FOR WHAMPOA. GROUNDED. SANK ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER EXPLOSIONS AND FIRE ERUPTED WHEN WATER ENTERED THE CARGO. 17 MEN LOST. (MSD).
