PLATING & OTHER PARTS OF HULL ARE SCATTERED AROUND ROCKS, SOME ABOVE HIGH WATER MARK. REMAINS OF STERN EXTEND ABOUT 50YDS OUT TO SEA, BUT ONLY AS FRAGMENTS ON SEABED. SALVORS GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYTHING POSSIBLE WAS TAKEN FROM SHIP SHORTLYAFTER SHE WENT ASHORE, AS IT WAS POSSIBLE TO APPROACH MOST PARTS OF THE VESSEL AT LW. (C J OLDFIELD, 26.6.69). NCA.
