BUILT IN 1948 BY HALL, RUSSEL & CO, ABERDEEN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY NAVIERA SUPREMA MARINA, SA. PASSAGE MARSEILLES FOR DAMMAN. CAUGHT FIRE WHILE DISCHARGING CARGO AT MINA AL FAHAL, OMAN. WAS TOWED OUT OF PORT FULLY ABLAZE AND BEACHED AT QURUM BEACH, 3M NW OF MINA AL FAHAL. COMPLETELY GUTTED, WITH THE HULL BULGING OUTWARDS, WAS ABANDONED AS A CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS. (MSD).
