21.4.78 VESSEL, BUILT IN 1968 BY ASTANO SA, FERROL. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY NAV DEL SUR. ON PASSAGE FROM LAS PALMAS FOR LAGOS. CAUGHT FIRE ON 21.4.78. WAS TAKEN IN TOW BY 'FROXA', AFTER FIRE BURNT OUT, BUT SANK SUDDENLY 5M S OF LAS PALMAS TWO DAYS LATER. (MSD).
