BUILT IN 1900 BY CALEDON SHIPBUILDING & ENGINEERING CO LTD, DUNDEE. OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY ELDER DEMPSTER LINES. QUADRUPLE EXPANSION ENGINES, TWIN SHAFT. PASSAGE NEWPORT FOR LE HAVRE. TORPEDOED BY UC-17. IMMEDIATELY BROKE IN TWO AND SANK. 16 MEN LOST. (SIBI).
