FRENCH UNDERWRITERS HAVE MADE CONTACT WITH LEBORGNE OF HONFLEUR TO SALVE CARGO OF RUBBER & OIL AT NINETEEN PER CENT SALVED VALUE. (SALVAGE ASSOCIATION-HAVRE 28.9.29). NCA. POSN, 492800N, 000600E, FOR FILING ONLY 3.10.29 WRECK PILLAGED, SOME NAVIGATIONAL INSTRUMENTS AND FURNITURE HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY AND A NUMBER OF ARTICLES BROKEN. (LE HAVRE 1.10.29). NCA. 9.10.29 SALVAGE OPERATIONS PROCEEDING NORMALLY, IN FOUR DAYS HALF THE CARGO OF RUBBER, LUBRICATING OIL & GENERAL MERCHANDISE HAS BEEN LANDED & STORED IN THE CUSTOMS WAREHOUSES AT HONFLEUR. IT IS FEARED THAT OWING TO THE STATE OF THE HULL AND THE VESSEL SINKING INTO THE MUD IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO FLOAT HER STEPS HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO SECURE THE SAFETY OF NAVIGATION IN THE ROUEN CHANNEL.
