VESSEL, BUILT 1950 BY HALIFAX SHIPYARDS, LTD., HALIFAX. OWNED BY THE GOVT OF ARGENTINE. ATTACKED & DAMAGED BY RN SEA HARRIERS IN FALKLAND SOUND, NEAR FOX BAY. LOADED WITH AMMUNITION, INCLUDING HIGH EXPLOSIVES & PHOSPHOROUS SHELLS. RAN AGROUND & REFLOATED BY BRITISH MOTOR SALVAGE TUG 'IRISHMAN'. TOWED TO SAN CARLOS BAY IN JUNE 1982. (MSD).
