PASSAGE NORTH AFRICA FOR THE CLYDE. DISPERSED IN FOG FROM CONVOY AFTER A SUBMARINE WARNING. WAS SEEN TO BE DRIFTING ABOUT SEVEN MILES OFFSHORE, PRESUMABLY AFTER AN ENGINE BREAKDOWN. STRUCK A REEF W OF INISHARK ISLAND AND BROKE IN TWO. (SII).
