EXPERIENCED 'HEAVY SURGE' WHILE ON PASSAGE PORTUGAL TO REQUEJADA AND DEVELOPED LEAK IN DECK, ENGINE-ROOM AND MAIN GENERATOR. EVENTUALLY CARGO SHIFTED AND VESSEL STRANDED. ON THE FOLLOWING DAY AFTER UNSUCCESSFUL REFLOATING ATTEMPT SHIP BROKE IN TWO, THE FORE PART WASHING AWAY.
