BUILT IN 1890 BY EDWARDS & SYMES, MILLWALL, LONDON. PURCHASED IN 1940 BY THE ADMIRALTY TO BE SCUTTLED AT SCAPA FLOW AS A BLOCKSHIP. ONE BOILER, COMPOUND EXPANSION ENGINE OF 275NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE FOR SCAPA FLOW UNDER TOW OF PRIZEMAN. SANK SUDDENLY. SEA SMOOTH, NO EXPLOSION OR WARNING. (NOIC ABERDEEN & SIBI).
