WAS TORPEDOED AND SUNK BY GERMAN SUBMARINE U-73, 50M W OF ALGIERS. ONLY 2 SURVIVORS, 22 CREW AND 5 GUNNERS WERE LOST. (DODS, WW2SL, LLWW2, & AXIS SUBMARINE SUCCESSES).
