DIVERS REPORT WRECK IS REDUCED TO JUMBLE OF PLATES ON BOTTOM, BUT STERN, A BOILER & BOW SECTION STAND PROUD ABOUT 6, 12 & 15FT HIGH RESPECTIVELY. THIS AGREES WITH E/S DEPTH. BOW SECTION HARD AGAINST OUTCROP OF ROCK, WHICH RISES TO THE SAME DEPTH. (HMS WATERWITCH, 21.1.72). NC 807. H3635/71 3.9.79 2 INTACT BOILERS REMAIN, SIDE BY SIDE. BOW SECTION IS INTACT LYING ON PORT SIDE NEAR SW EXTREMITY OF WRECKAGE. THERE ARE NO ROCK OUTCROPS IN VICINITY. STERN NOW WELL SUNK INTO GRAVEL/ROCK SEABED. LIES HEADING SW, ROUGHLY PARALLEL TO THE COAST. (M G SHEAN, SEVERNSIDE BSAC, 6.8.79). NCA. [WGD] POSN: 4929.267N, 0237.550W.

EX- GENUA. RENAMED IN 1920 BUILT IN 1909 BY NEPTUNE WERFT A G, ROSTOCK. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY CAMPAGNIE AUXILLAIRE DE NAVIGATIONS. TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 213NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE OBAN FOR ROUEN. PASSAGE OBAN FOR ROUEN. STRUCK THE GRUNES REEF, TOOK WATER AND SANK.
