PART OF CONVOY AT TIME OF INCIDENT. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY LAMPORT & HOLT. STRANDED ON A REEF BETWEEN KEARNEY PT & BALLYQUINTIN PT. CREW OF 39 RESCUED BY THE CLOUGHEY LIFEBOAT. VESSEL WAS REFLOATED, BUT BECAME THE VICTIM OF A SUBMARINE IN NOV '42 [SEE 35370]. (SHIPWRECKS OF THE ULSTER COAST).
