BUILT IN 1945 BY FREDRIKSHAVNS. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY PANAGITSA SHIPPING CO. WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION WITH BRITISH TANKER EXACO BRUSSELS WHILE AT ANCHOR IN LAGOS ROADS AFTER ARRIVING FROM PIRAEUS. BROUGHT INTO HARBOUR TO UNLOAD BUT HOLDS STARTED TO FLOOD. SUBSEQUENTLY VESSEL WAS BEACHED BUT CARGO WAS WATER DAMAGED. LATER BROKE IN TWO. (MSD).
