BUILT IN 1966 BY EST NAV DE VIANA DO CASTELS, VIANO DO CASTELO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY JOAO MARIA MILARINHO SUCESSORES, LTD. PASSAGE FROM FISHING ON THE NEWFOUNDLAND BANKS. SUFFERED A FIRE IN THE AUXILIARY ENGINE ROOM. ALL 56 CREW WERE RESCUED, BUT 2 LATER DIED OF THEIR INJURIES. (MSD).
