BUILT 1947 BY C.R.D. ADRIATICO, TRIESTE. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THE GREAT CIRCLE LINE, LTD. ON PASSAGE BOMBAY FOR DUBAI. RAN AGROUND IN THE GULF OF KUTCH OFF NAVINAL POINT LTHO. SHE REFLOATED HERSELF AFTER JETTISONING SOME CARGO BUT, DUE TO SEAWATER INGRESS AND PUMP FAILURE, SHE DEVELOPED A LIST AND WAS LATER BEACHED 4M N OF THE LTHO. THE WRECKED VESSEL WAS ABANDONED AS A CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS. (MSD)
