12.5.93 WENT AGROUND WHILE APPROACHING BHAVNAGAR ANCHORAGE WITH PILOT ONBOARD. STARTED TAKING WATER IN NO.3 HOLD AND WAS ABANDONED. QUICKLY SUBMERGED WITH ONLY ACCOMMODATION VISIBLE. VESSEL, BUILT 1973, AND OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY NAVAL FLAG S.A. WAS EN-ROUTE MOROCCO TO BHAVNAGAR. (LL, 12.5.93 & MSD).
