Circumstances of loss

BUILT 1909 BY MACKIE & THOMPSON. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY TAYLOR & CO, FLEETWOOD. RAN AGROUND ON ROCKS. FIVE OF THE CREW REACHED THE SHORE, BUT SIX WERE MISSING UNTIL THEY LANDED AT TIREE, 60 MILES AWAY, FOUR DAYS LATER. (SHIPWRECKS OF THE W OF SCOTLAND, B BAIRD).
