Wreck No: W02818, Place of Loss: Wicklow, Arklow Light Vessel, 5 miles NE of., Source of Coordinate: www.wrecksite.eu, Description: 742-ton, 8-year-old steel steamship of Christiania, Norway. Owned by Akties Ocean, Master was S. Lydersen. Built in Aker Mek, Vaerks, Norway. Sunk by German submarine UC-65, en route from Hennebout to Glasgow, in ballast. Crew abandoned ship. The bell, dated 1909, was trawled up in 1968 and is now housed in the Maritime Museum, Arklow.
