BUILT IN 1960 BY CHANTIERS ET ATELIERS DE PROVENCE, PORT DE BOUC. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY SERENITY BAY SHIPPING CO LTD. PASSAGE CUBA FOR SYRIA. ALL CREW WERE SAFELY RESCUED AFTER THEY ABANDONED HER DUE TO SEVERE LEAKAGE IN HER HATCHES. SHE FINALLY SUNK 900 MILES SE OF BERMUDA. (MSD)
