16.7.1940 BUILT IN 1929 BY LITHGOWS LTD, GLASGOW WITH TRIPLE-EXPANSION ENGINES OF 359NHP. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY LARRINAGA STEAMSHIP CO. PASSAGE BAHIA BLANCA FOR FREETOWN, BELFAST & HULL. INTERCEPTED & SUNK BY GERMAN RAIDER PINGUIN. 8 CREW LOST & 30 TAKEN AS PRISIONERS OF WAR. SHE WAS NOT IN CONVOY AT TIME OF LOSS. (DODS, LLWW2 & WRECKSITE.EU). REPORTED AS SUNK ON 16.7.1940.
