BUILT IN 1943. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY CIA NAV PARA VIAJES MONDIALES, SA. PASSAGE ANCONA FOR SHANGHAI. RAN AGROUND OFF PORTO ALEXANDRE, ANGOLA. ALL SUBSEQUENT ATTEMPTS TO REFLOAT FAILED AND THE VESSEL WAS THEN ABANDONED AFTER BREAKING IN TWO DURING A HEAVY SWELL. (MSD).
