SANK AFTER A SECOND TORPEDO ATTACK THE FOLLOWING DAY. CARGO INCLUDED MANGANESE, ALUMINIUM ORE, COTTON, TOBACCO AND MAIL. SIX CREW LOST. (LLOYDS WAR LOSSES WWII, DODS, AXIS SUBMARINE SUCCESSES 1939-45).
