BUILT IN 1859 BY GASS, NEW BRUNSWICK. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY MERCHANTS' TRADING CO. STRANDED IN SE FORCE 10. (SII). PASSAGE LIVERPOOL FOR NEW ORLEANS. CARGO METAL HOOPS AND OTHER COTTON TRADE GOODS. FOUNDERED ON REEFS AND FINALLY SANK IN THE BAY. (P O'NEIL).
