VESSEL OF ABOUT 1400 TONS WITH CARGO OF LOW GRADE ORE. SCATTERED WRECKAGE WITH TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE ON IT SIDE. BOILER IS HIGHEST POINT. CONSIDERED TO BE WK OF THE EUTERPE. BUILT IN 1883 BY A STEPHEN & SONS. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THE EUTERPS SS CO. COMPOUND ENGINE OF 184NHP FOR 8.5 KNOTS. LAST SIGHTED OFF YARMOUTH WHEN ON PASSAGE HUELVA FOR THE TEES. CARGO IRON ORE. THOUGHT TO HAVE BEEN MINED.
