BUILT IN 1951 BY BURNITISLAND SHIPBUILDING CO, BURNTISLAND. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THADEM SHIPPING CO LTD. PASSAGE BEIRUT FOR HAMBURG. WAS ABANDONED BY CREW AFTER LEAK DEVELOPED IN ENGINE ROOM AND LATER SANK SW OF PYLOS. CREW RECOVERED.
