BUILT IN 1956 BY HARIMA ZOSENSHO, AIOI. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY NICOPAN SHIPPING CO, SA. PASSAGE DURBAN FOR BRAZIL. DEVELOPED A LEAK & BEGAN TO LIST IN HEAVY SEAS, LATER THE SAME DAY SHE STRUCK ROCKS BETWEEN CAPE ST FRANCIS & PLETTENBERG BAY, SHE THEN BROKE IN TWO & SANK. 17 OF 23 CREW WERE RESCUED. (MSD)
