Circumstances of loss

VESSEL, ON PASSAGE FROM HAMBURG TO KHORRAMSHAHR IN CONVOY. WAS TOWING FARNAZ KAROON AFTER REPORTING ENGINE PROBLEMS. FARNAZ KAROON TOOK PORT LIST & AFTER A FEW MINUTES SHE CAPSIZED & SANK. FARSHID KAROON WAS DRAWN BY TOWLINE & ALSO SANK. FARNAZ KAROON RELEASED TOWLINE, STARTED HER ENGINE & SEARCHED THE AREA. ONE CREWMAN FOUND DEAD, FIVE RESCUED & FOUR MISSING. FARNAZ KAROON PROCEEDED TO LA GOULETTE. (LLOYDS VOL.229).
