H1278/85 13.2.85 NDW PA SHOWN IN 193208.5S 1691527.5E [IGN] ON SURVEY [K9523/1]. WK OF 'FEJIAN' LIES JUST OFF BLACK SAND BEACH, LYING 100/280DEGS. BADLY DECOMPOSED BUT MANY METAL FITTINGS REMAIN INCLUDING THE TWO BOILERS. DIVED ON & FOUND TO LIE ON SANDY BOTTOM ALONGSIDE THE ADJACENT REEF SOME 20MTRS DISTANT. NO CLEARING DEPTH WAS OBTAINED OVER WK, BUT IT LIES AT SUCH A DEPTH THAT IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A DANGER TO BOATS LANDING ON THE BEACH OR ADJACENT REEF. (RAN HYDRO. DETACHED SURVEY UNIT JUNE/JULY 1984). INS AS NDWPA IN 193217.5S, 1691529.5E [LOCAL FIT]. BA 1642 [LENAKEL ANCHORAGE]. BR STD. 6.8.87 INS IN 193207.0S, 1691520.7E [IGN] ON NC 1581 [LENAKEL BAY].
