VESSEL, CRUSHED & SUNK BY STEAM LIQUIFIED GAS TANKER 'BEN FRANKLIN', WHICH BROKE IT'S MOORINGS DURING A HEAVY GALE. SALVAGE OPS COMMENCED. INITIALLY REPORTED TO BE A DUTCH MOTOR STEAM TRAWLER, LATER TO BE A PANAMANIAN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH VESSEL. (LLOYDS VOL'S.226, 227 & 228).
