BUILT IN 1962 BY CORBASTA OF SANTANDER. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY IBERHANSA MARITIMA SA. CAUGHT FIRE IN NO.1 HOLD WHILE ON PASSAGE HAMBURG TO BARCELONA. WAS ABANDONED BY CREW AND DRIFTED FOR FIVE DAYS, BURNING FIERCELY AND WITH INTERMITTENT EXPLOSIONS, BEFORE SINKING. CREW RECOVERED. (MSD).
