BUILT IN 1975 BY LEVINGTON SHIP BUILDING CO, ORANGE, TEXAS. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY GLOMAR MARINE DEEPWATER DRILLING INC. TOOK ON 15 DEG LIST IN 75 KNOT WINDS AND 26 FT SEAS IN TYPHOON 'TEX'. LATER SANK. ONLY DEBRIS AND LIFEJACKETS WERE LOCATED. CREW OF 81 MEN LOST. (MSD).
