BUILT IN 1944 BY PENN-JERSEY SHIPBUILDING CORPORATION, CAMDEN, NJ. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY NOAH SHIPPING & TRADING CO LTD. PASSAGE THE FAR EAST FOR JEDDAH AND HODEIDAH. WHILST ON PASSAGE, SHOOK VIOLENTLY, PRESUMABLY HAVING STRUCK A SUBMERTED OBJECT. LISTED RAPIDLY DUE TO FLOODING IN GALE FORCE WINDS AND STRONG SWELL. CREW ABANDONED. CREW ALL RECOVERED.
