MACHINERY BUILT BY WALLSEND SLIPWAY CO OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE. STRUCK A MINE LAID BY UC-32. ON GOVERNMENT SERVICE AS AN AMMUNITION STORES CARRIER AND WAS CARRYING A FULL CARGO AT THE TIME. OF 16 CREW, 5 DIED. VESSEL WAS ON PASSAGE SCAPA FLOW TO SUNDERLAND. (SHIPWRECK INDEX OF BRITISH ISLES)
