H01055/40 30.12.40 POSN 533334N 000935E. NOTHING VISIBLE. THE CHIEF EXAMINATION OFFICER STATES THAT ONLY THE AFTER PART OF THE WRECK REMAINS. THE FOREMOST AND MAJOR PART FLOATED AND AFTER UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS TO TAKE IT IN TOW, DRIFTED NORTH ON THE TIDE OVER THE BINKS. (REPORT OF WKS 30.12.40, FO HUMBER 25.11.40). INS AS NDWPA IN 533336N, 000936E. - NM 179/41. 13.2.67 SHOWN AS DWPA ON NE 109. (AHTHORITY NOT KNOWN). H6450/68 5.12.68 A THOROUGH SEARCH WITH SONAR & ECHO SOUNDER WAS CARRIED OUT WITHIN A TWO MILE RADIUS OF THE CHARTED POSN AND SIX NEW WKS WERE LOCATED. TWO OF THESE WERE IDENTIFIED FROM HUMBER CONSERVANCY BOARD AND A THIRD IS CONSIDERED TO BE NO 521 (AMENITY). THE REMAINING THREE WKS ARE OF SUFFICIENT SIZE TO BE DISCOUNTED AS THE REMAINS OF A 57 TON (34 GROSS) ML. THE SEA BED IN THE VICINITY OF THE CHARTED POSN IS OF A VERY UNEVEN NATURE AND IT IS CONSIDERED THAT WRECKAGE COULD EASILY EXIST AND DEFY THE MOST RIGOROUS ATTEMPTS AT DISCOVERY. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE WK BE DELETED FROM THE CHARTS. WRECK SEARCHED FOR BETWEEN THE 13TH & 21ST OF MAY 1968. (HMS ENTERPRISE, HI 39/68). DELETED. - NM 232/69. H2395/73 9.1.74 NOT FOUND. (SOISS, 1973). 2.12.98 AMENDED TO DEAD. SEP 2019/000300377 18.12.19 NOT LOCATED USING M/B. (CLINTON MARINE, HI 1596). NCA.
