BUILT IN 1936 BY W DENNY & BROS. PASSAGE FOR GIBRALTAR. TOTALLY WRECKED AFTER RUNNING AROUND OFF KELIBIA, TUNISIA. WITH A COMPLEMENT OF 145 & A LARGE NUMBER OF OFFICERS & RATINGS AS PASSENGERS. ONLY ONE RATING LOST, THE REMAINDER WERE TAKEN PRISONER BY THE FRENCH, LATER RELEASED IN 1942. (DODS).
