BULT IN 1940. THREE DRUM BOILERS, TURBINE ENGINES OF 72,000 SHP FOR 40KTS. WAS SUNK BY A BOMB FROM A GERMAN AIRCRAFT OFF BARDIA , WHILST BEING USED TO SUPPLY THE BESEIGED TOBRUK GARRISON. 20 MEN LOST. (ALLIED WARSHIP CASUALTIES, MED, FEB 1952).
