BUILT IN 1914 BY COOK, WELTON & GEMMEL OF BEVERLEY, YORKSHIRE. OWNED BY GOERGE F SLIGHT OF GRIMSBY. SINGLE BOILER, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 80 HP FOR 10.5 KNOTS. SINGLE SHAFT. MACHINERY BY C D HOLMES. STEEL HULL. REQUISITIONED BY THE RN IN NOVEMBER 1914. CONVERTED TO BECOME HM MINESWEEPER FY-47. FOUNDERED AFTER STRIKING A MINE LAID BY UC 30.
