Circumstances of loss
BUILT IN 1848. WRECKED ON THE PRATAS SHOAL TO THE SOUTH OF PRATAS ISLAND DUE TO IRREGULAR CURRENTS. NO LOSS OF LIFE AMONGST THE 100 STRONG CREW. (THE LOST SHIPS OF THE ROYAL NAVY 1793-1900 & SRN).
