FOUNDERED AT SPITHEAD. (SHIPS OF THE ROYAL NAVY). WHILE KEELED OVER TO REPAIR A PIPE, A SUDDEN GUST OF WIND WASHED A SEA INTO HER PORTS AND SHE CAPSIZED AND SANK. ABOUT 600 LIVES WERE LOST INCLUDING REAR-ADMIRAL KEMPENFELDT.
