Circumstances of loss
BUILT AT SUMMERS, SOUTHAMPTON IN 1914. WENT ONTO THE ROCKS AT PORTMAGEE AND OVERTURNED. SOLD TO ENSORS OF COBH WHO RAISED HER FOR USE AS A SALVAGE VESSEL FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS UNDER THE NAME SAFEGUARDER. (SHIPWRECKS OFF THE IRISH COAST).
