BUILT IN 1911 BY SMITH'S DOCK CO LTD, MIDDLESBROUGH. ONE BOILER, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 91NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. REQUISITIONED IN 1915. WAS ON PATROL WITH HMS CONQUEROR II WHEN SIGNALLED TO STOP TO SPEAK TO CONQUEROR'S MASTER. WAS STRUCK BY A TORPEDO FIRED BY U-52, WHICH HAD BEED AIMED AT CONQUEROR. AS CONQUEROR LOWERED BOATS TO RECOVER SURVIVORS, SHE WAS ALSO TORPEDOED. (SIBI).
