BUILT AS A FLEET MINESWEEPER IN 1934 BY J CROWN & SONS. 3-DRUM BOILERS, COMPOUND EXPANSION ENGINES OF 1770 IHP FOR 16.5 KNOTS. TWO 4 INCH GUNS, 9 MACHINE GUNS. BOMBED BY GERMAN A/C AND SUNK DURING EVACUATION OF BEF FROM DUNKIRK. WAS CARRYING BETWEEN 250 AND 300 TROOPS IN ADDITION TO HER CREW AND MOST WERE LOST. (DODS).
