Circumstances of loss

26.04.40 BUILT IN 1910 BY COOK, WELTON & GEMMEL LTD, BEVERLEY. HIRED AS AN ARMED PATROL TRAWLER FROM 2.1915. STRUCK GERMAN MINE 3 MILES SE OF TODHEAD LT HOUSE. (SIBI). HISTORICALLY NOTED TO HAVE BEEN SUNK BY A MINE LAID BY SUBMARINE UC-41 BUT REVIEW SHOWED UC-41 MINEFIELD NOT LAID NEAR HMT REPRO LOCATION AND THAT UC-77 LAID THE FIELD THAT CLAIMED HMT REPRO.
