VESSEL, BUILT 1810 IN CHESTER, STRUCK ROCKS IN BAD WETHER WHILST SEEKING SHELTER IN WHAT IS NOW NAMED HORNBY COVE, THE WESTERNMOST POINT OF THE GREAT ORME. VESSEL WAS ON PASSAGE LIVERPOOL TO RIO DE JANEIRO. OF 2 PASSENGERS & 13 CREW ON BOARD ONLY 1 OF CREW SURVIVED. (SIBI)
