BUILT IN 1958. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY FIFE SHIPPING, LTD. PASSAGE BANGKOK FOR APAPA/LAGOS. CARGO 8000 TONS OF RICE, 800 TONS TINNED PRODUCE, 500 TONS OF GENERAL GOODS AND 74 CONTAINERS WITH GENERAL GOODS. WAS ABANDONED 25M N OF CUNENE RIVER, ANGOLA, AFTER ENGINE-ROOM FLOODED FOLLOWING A LEAK. LATER TAKEN IN TOW BY SINGAPORE TUG 'CAUSEWAY ADVENTURER' BUT WHILE UNDER TOW TO WALVIS BAY SUDDENLY SANK. (MSD).
