28.2.76 DIESEL ELECTRIC TRAWLER, BUILT 1965 BY HIJOS D J. BARRERAS S.A., VIGO, CAPSIZED WHEN BUNKERING HAVING TOUCHED THE BOTTOM ON EBB TIDE, NEAR POINTE NOIRE. VESSEL WAS ABANDONED & LATER REFLOATED DURING DECEMBER 1976 TO BE BEACHED ON SHORE NEAR POINTE NOIRE. TOTAL LOSS DUE TO LACK OF SALVAGE AND REPAIR FACILITIES IN AREA. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY JOSE M. URBIETA. (LL, 28.2.76, 12.5.77 & MSD).
