TORPEDOED BY GERMAN SUBMARINE U52. 5 OF 39 CREW LOST. (DODS, LL WW2 & AXIS SUBMARINE SUCCESSES). VESSEL BROKE IN TWO, BOW SANK & STERN SUNK BY GUNFIRE FROM HM SHIPS. (WARTIME STANDARD SHIPS VOL 3).
